Direct Line "Manfred"

Car insurance is an unnerving topic, so Shanghai Berlin came up with the concept of the main character of this advertisement campaign: Manfred is a nerve who's constantly struggling to stay relaxed and calm, otherwise he will literally explode.

My part in the project was character design and development, later storyboarding/posing for the 3D animated spots and posters and up to that point project management. As soon as the 3D implementation began, my colleagues at Lumatic took over.
